Acceptable Use Policy

Welcome to the American Home Help community. When you sign up for an American Home Help account, your actions can have a big impact on our community as a whole. Everyone is held to the same standard on American Home Help. We’re asking you to be considerate, think before you act and abide by our community guidelines both on and offline. To protect the integrity and security of our systems, we require all American Home Help users to follow this Acceptable Use Policy.
Below is a list of community policies. If you violate any of these rules we might suspend or terminate your account. We may also suspend or terminate accounts according to our Terms of Service where we see behavior, content, or other factors that pose a threat to our services. If not defined here, capitalized terms have the meaning stated in our Terms of Service.

We encourage you to report any behavior that violates our policies.

Illegal Usage
Don’t use American Home Help to do anything illegal. If it’s illegal in real life, it’s illegal on American Home Help. Laws were made for a reason. We have zero tolerance for individuals engaging in illegal criminal activity.
Stay Safe
Everyone has a role to play in helping to create a safe experience for patients and providers from the moment you login to the platform through completion of a post and beyond.
Be Honest
Honesty is the cornerstone of a caring community. Being honest goes a long way in creating safe and positive experiences through the platform.
Respect Everyone
All American Home Help users are expected to be respectful in every interaction, whether online or in person. Communication or conduct that expresses hate, bullying, harassment, or discrimination is not allowed.
Harassment
Do not engage, or encourage others to engage, in any targeted abuse or harassment against any other user. This includes sending any unsolicited content to other users. Reports of stalking, threats, bullying or intimidation are taken very seriously.
Nudity/Sexual Content
Keep it classy and appropriate for public consumption. No nudity or sexually explicit content. Keep it clean.
Violence and Physical Harm
We do not tolerate violent, graphic or gory content on American Home Help, or any actions or content that advocate for or threaten violence of any sort, including threatening or promoting terrorism. Physical assault, coercion and any acts of violence are strictly prohibited.
Hate Speech
Any content that promotes, advocates for or condones racism, bigotry, hatred, or violence against individuals or groups based on factors like (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, religious affiliation, disability, gender, age, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or pollical affiliation is not allowed.
Private Information
Don’t publicly broadcast any private information, whether yours or anyone else’s. This includes social security numbers, PHI, passwords, financial information or unlisted contact information, such as phone numbers, email addresses and home/work addresses.
Scamming
American Home Help has a zero-tolerance policy on predatory behavior of any kind. Anyone attempting to get other users’ private information for fraudulent or illegal activity may be banned.
Impersonation
Do not impersonate, or otherwise misrepresent affiliation, connection or association with any person or entity.
Copyright and Trademark Infringement
If it’s not yours, don’t post it. If your American Home Help account includes any work that is copyrighted or trademarked by others, don’t display it, unless you are allowed to do so.
One Person, One Account
American Home Help accounts cannot have multiple owners. Additionally, please don’t maintain multiple accounts.
Account Dormancy
If you don’t log in to your American Home Help account for 1+ years, we may assume you found what you’re looking for and delete your account for inactivity.
Minors
You must be 18 years of age or older to use American Home Help. As such, we do not allow images of unaccompanied minors. If you see a profile that includes an unaccompanied minor, encourages harm to a minor or depicts a minor in a sexual or suggestive way, please report it immediately.

Spam
Do not spam other users. Don’t use American Home Help to drive people to external websites via a link or otherwise.
Random
Do not generate or facilitate unsolicited bulk commercial content.
Do not intentionally distribute viruses, worms, Trojan horses, corrupted files, hoaxes, or other items of a destructive or deceptive nature.
Do not alter, disable, interfere with or circumvent any aspect of the site and services.
Do not test or reverse-engineer the Services in order to find limitations, vulnerabilities or evade filtering capabilities.
Do not host any data on our servers for any purpose other than for your use of the Services.
Do not use Services in an excessive manner compared to the anticipated standard use

Report Concerns
Be an accountable user of our community and report any safety concerns using the Customer Support Portal on the site.

By following these guidelines, you help make sure that American Home Help maintains a clean and safe community. Any failure to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy may result in suspension or termination, or both, of the Services
